Leaders appeal to doctors to suspend the strike on humanitarian grounds


ADILABAD: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Adilabad district unit on Saturday demanded booking of an attempt to murder case against MIM Legislator Afsar Khan and suspending his membership of the Legislative Assembly for beating up a doctor the Niloufer hospital in Hyderabad.

The MIM should be held responsible for deaths of children at the hospital subsequent to strike by the junior doctors there, the party leaders contended.

At a press conference BJP district secretary and treasurer respectively Praful Vaze and Gande Krishna criticised the State Government for not registering a case against the MLA despite directions from the High Court.

They also criticised Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrashekhar Rao for praising the Nizam.

The leaders appealed to the striking doctors to suspend the strike on humanitarian grounds.
