THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An unbeaten century by Sally Samson (121 not out) saw host Kerala end the first day’s play against Goa on a respectable note in the South Zone Polly Umrigar Trophy under-15 cricket tournament here on Sunday. Apart from Sally there were useful contributions from R.S. Ranjith (42) and Abhishek Mohan (35) as Kerala scored 278 for seven in 94 overs.
