COIMBATORE: Governor Surjit Singh Barnala will inaugurate an air-conditioned auditorium at the Tamil Nadu College of Engineering here on October 5, said P.V. Ravi, Chairman, Governing Council and Secretary and Correspondent, Tamil Nadu College of Engineering and Nanjappa Polytechnic College, here on Tuesday. Addressing presspersons, Mr. Ravi said the 2,000-seat auditorium was built at a cost of Rs. 4 crore. The Governor would also initiate the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Nanjappa Polytechnic College on the occasion. Modern computer centreHe would inaugurate the modern computer centre with library of the polytechnic, Mr. Ravi said. FoundationFoundation for the Silver Jubilee Academic Block that would come up at a cost of Rs. 2 crore would also be laid, he said. The Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Nanjappa Polytechnic College would be held on October 6.
