Prabakaran scalps seven

PUDUKOTTAI: S. Prabakaran took seven for 21 as Andakulam GHSS defeated Sri Subabharathi by 51 runs in a knockout encounter of the TNCA inter-school under-17 cricket tournament for the Boost Cricket Cup here on Tuesday.

The scores: At Pudukottai: Andakulam GHSS 119 in 12.3 overs bt Sri Subabharathi 68 in 10 overs (S. Prabakaran seven for 21). TELC 165 in 20 overs (Rasheed 56) bt SKB 42 in 11 overs (Karthik three for nine).

At Cuddalore: ARLM 161 for four in 25 overs (Kalyanaraman 31) lost to Lakshmi Chordia 162 for six in 24.2 overs (Veeravelan 51 not out, Vimalraj three for 28). St. Joseph’s 121 for eight in 25 overs (Manikandan four for 19) bt Krishnasamy 118 for four in 25 overs. At Nagapattinam: NDHS 42 in 13.1 overs (Kumar four for six) lost to CSI 43 for no loss in 5.1 overs. St. Antony’s 216 in 25 overs (Ratheesh 64, Vetri 53) bt Chinmaya Vidhyalaya 83 for five in 25 overs (Vidyasagar 30).
