India begins on a winning note

HYDERABAD: India began its campaign on a winning note with a 3-0 verdict against Nepal in the 11th SAARC carrom championship at Nagpur on Saturday, according to information received here.

The results: Team championship: Men: Sri Lanka bt Bangladesh 2-1; Sri Lanka bt Maldives 3-0; India bt Nepal 3-0; India bt Bangladesh 3-0.
