North Zone posts win

VIJAYAWADA: An unbeaten 66 by Kranthi and 52 by V. Krishna helped North Zone score a 71-run victory over South Zone in the ACA U-22 inter-zonal one-day tournament for the V. P. Raju Trophy at Tarakarama Stadium at Venkatagiri (Nellore District) on Saturday.

The scores: North Zone 182 for five in 50 overs (Kranthi 66 n.o., V. Krishna 52, Naushad three for 40) bt South Zone 111 in 40.2 overs (Atchuth Rao four for 28). — Sports Reporter
