Tender Notice
Sealed bids from reputed bidders are invited for pre-qualification for award of works for promotion of ECO AND NATURAL HEALTH PARK in an extent of 39 acres at Muttukadu Village, Near Mamallapuram in Tamilnadu on a joint venture basis with Government of Tamilnadu owned Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited. The entire land of an area of about 39 acres valued at Rs.20 crores would be offered by T.T.D.C. against equity share capital of the proposed joint venture company. The offerer will bring in equal amount as their equity share contribution either individually or through a consortium and the balance amount towards project cost would be raised from Financial Institutions as loans. The offerer could develop the project in a phased manner and progressively expand the area of coverage depending on the viability of the project.
The offer should contain the following details:
1) A detailed profile of the bidder and in case of consortium, for all partners.
2) Evidence of proven track record for establishment and successful running of similar Eco and Natural Health Park in India or abroad by the bidder.
3) Evidence of minimum 5 years experience in providing similar service to tourists.
4) The bidder or leader of the consortium should have minimum annual turnover of Rs.20 crores during F.Y. 1996-97 and F.Y. 1997-98.
5) The net worth of the company or the leader of the consortium should be atleast Rs.5 crores as on March 31, 1998.
6) The net fixed assets owned by the company or the leader of the consortium should be Rs.25 crores as on March 31 1998.
7) Due weightage will be given to those who have club network of similar services provided as a chain in more than one place either in India or abroad.
The above details along with preliminary drawings, proposed work methodology, schedule of implementation, area of coverage, rough cost estimates, means of financing, audited annual reports of the bidder (consortium) for the three year period ended March 31 1998 and appropriate client certification should reach the undersigned within 30 days from the date of issue of this Tender Notice.
