Thiagarajar College of Engineering Alumni Association, Chennai Chapter came into existance on 19th June 1988. Starting with a modest strength of about 60 members, today the Chapter has over 500 members on its mailing list.
The Association is having regular activities like bi-monthly meetings, short and long picnics and cultural functions etc. These activities are going on uninterrupted for the last 10 years. The Association is publishing a news letter called TECMAC News regularly. Souvenir and Member Directory are published every year. This Chapter proposing to acquire a premise of its own at Chennai shortly.
The Tenth Anniversary celebrations held at Hotel Savera on 26-7-98 was a grand success. Karumuthu T. Kannan was our Chief Guest. More than 400 members/family attended the function. Having met with a fair amount of success in integrating the alumni and their family across Chennai, this Chapter is proposing to link alumni across the world. We are already having a few U.S. based Members on our role.
We invite TCE Alumni across the world to become member of the Chennai Chapter and reestablish link with other alumni/almamater.
