Sealed Tenders are invited in two bids system (Part-I Techno Commercial Bid and Part-II Price Bid) from bonafide experienced contractors of financial standing and reputation having Provident Fund Code No., Sales Tax No., and fulfilling the pre-qualifying requirements detailed below for "CHAIN LINK FENCING WORKS FOR EASTERN INDIA REFINERY PROJECT AT PARADIP, ORISSA, INDIA".

By Bank Guarantee, Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., payable at New Delhi.

Tender documents (non-transferable) can be collected from the office of

from 20-08-99 to 20-09-99 (both days inclusive) on payment of Tender Fee (non-refundable) on all working days upto 3.00 p.m. Tenders (Part-I Techno Commercial Bid and Part-II Price Bid) shall be received upto 2.00 p.m. on 27-09-99 and Part-I Techno Commercial Bid shall be opened on the same day at 2.30 p.m.

While applying for Tender Documents, the intending tenderers shall have to furnish to the Tender Issuing Authority proof of their pre-qualification, experience, antecedents, Financial Standing, Income Tax Clearance Certificate etc. Mere issue of Bid Documents does not entitle a bidder to pre-qualify without furnishing requisite documentary evidence. The Tender Issuing Authority reserves the right to refuse issue of Tender Documents to any party without assigning any reasons thereof. IOCL takes no responsibility for delay, loss or non-receipt of the tender documents sent by post/courier.

IOCL reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.

The tender documents will be issued in person only and shall not be sent by post.
