Indchem Software Technologies Limited is a new company
spun off from the Sanmar Group,
which has interests in Chemicals, Engineering, Electronics etc. Software
has been identified as a thrust area for growth. Recognising the need for
a focussed, entrepreneurial approach different from those applicable to
its traditional businesses, this new stand-alone venture, will adopt independent
management and financial strategies relevant to the software business.
Indchem will develop software in both Technical
and Commercial areas. In the Technology area, Indchem will focus
on Communications and Networking, Process Control and Industrial Automation
and Multi-media. In the Commercial area, it will focus on financial services
including Banking and Insurance, ERP and Supply Chain Management and Web-based
solutions including E-commerce. Indchem’s state-of-the-art Software Development
Centre is being located in Chennai and will offer services to clients through
its offices in USA and Europe.

HEAD-ENGINEERING
Location - Chennai

Responsible for the techno-commercial evaluation and execution
of all software projects and products.
-
Accountable for the establishment and maintenance of the
highest standards in software engineering.

Post Graduation in Electronics, preferably from a leading
US university.
-
10 years’ experience in the software industry with the last
5 years in a senior position in Engineering/Development in a leading software
company.
-
Experience in the execution of large on-site/off- shore projects
for American/European entities in diverse Technologies and Commercial Applications
is a must.

Preferred age is 35-45 years.
HEAD-BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Location - Chennai

Responsible for development of marketing plans and
sales of software projects and products in all geographies.

An engineer with a Post Graduate Degree in Management from
a premier Institute.

10 years' experience in the software industry with the last
5 years in a senior position in Business Development in a leading software
company.

Experience in selling large software contracts to American
entities.

Preferred age is 35 - 40 years.
HEAD-HRD
Location - Chennai

Responsible for the drawing up of manpower plans, recruitment,
establishment and updation of HR policies and compensation structures.

Responsible for technological / skill upgradation of manpower
and creating and sustaining a work environment which will attract and retain
the best talent.

A Post Graduate in Management from a premier Institute.

10 years' post qualification experience with the last 5 years
in a senior position in HRD in a Software / IT company, or a large consulting
firm specialising in HRD.

HEAD-BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, NORTH AMERICA
Location - USA

Responsible for the marketing of the company's services and
products in the USA and Canada.

Engineers in Electronics / Computer Science, preferably with
a Post Graduate qualification in Management.

7 years' experience in Marketing in the software industry
of which atleast 3 years would be to entities in the USA.

Must be willing to be resident in the USA.

Location - Europe / London

Responsible for the marketing of the company's services and
products in Europe.
