Sealed competitive quotations are invited from manufacturers/suppliers of Sisal Yarn required by the company as per description given below.

Description of the product:

Sisal Natural Yarn 2 Ply made out of 3L or equivalent quality Sisal Fibre (minumum Fibre length 90 cm.) in Z twisting. The Sisal Yarn required is in diferent runnages, viz, 150 Mtrs/kg 2 Ply, 300 Mtrs/kg 2 Ply, 350 Mtrs/kg 2 Ply, 500 Mtrs/kg 2 Ply, 500 Mtrs/kg Single Ply Yarn, 700 Mtrs/kg Single Ply Yarn, 1000 Mtrs/kg Single Ply Yarn.

Besides, coloured/Dyed Sisal Yarn in the above ruunages are also required. 3 or 4 Colours of Fibre Dyed is to be spun into a single yarn (single ply & 2 ply) in different proportion of each shade of fibre.

Our monthly requirements is approximately 30 metric tonnes. The price to be quoted is per metric tonne CIF, Cochin. The term of payment required and delivery schedule may also be specified. The supplier will have to provide free samples if their rates are accepted. The prices quoted should be valid for a minimum period of one year from 1st of June 2001, to 31st May 2002. The offer should reach the Company latest by 30-6-2001.
