VPT record in unloading of potash

The Visakhapatnam Port Trust set a record by unloading 20,619 tonnes of muriate of potash in bulk on Aug.11 from the vessel m.v. Jia Shun Shan surpassing the earlier record of 20,300 tonnes on July 23, 2007, from m.v. Pacific Victory.

The cargo was imported by Tata Chemicals.
