Appointment orders handed over

CHENNAI: Minister for Local Administration M.K. Stalin on Thursday handed over appointment orders to 77 persons for the posts of Junior Assistant and Revenue Assistant in the Department of Municipal Administration on compassionate grounds.

An official release here said the appointments were made after the Government revoked the ban on recruitment and appointments on compassionate grounds.

Mr. Stalin had already handed over appointment orders to 15 doctors, 48 Assistant Engineers, three Town Planning Officers and 113 Health Inspectors in the department in June, the release added.
