BWSSB warns public

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has said that it has not appointed or authorised any private agency to collect money on its behalf from the public for providing water connections and meters. Stating in a press release here on Tuesday that it had received some complaints about private individuals cheating people, the BWSSB said that citizens who want new connections must apply to the board directly. Instances of such cheating can be reported on 22945114 or email chairman@bwssb.org. — Staff Reporter
