‘Indiawood’ from February 29

BANGALORE: “Indiawood”, an international exhibition of woodworking machinery, tolls, accessories, materials and products, will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, off Tumkur Road, from February 29 to March 4, 2008, a press release here said.

According to the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers, organiser of the event, the Indian woodworking industry like its counterparts in the developed countries, is currently witnessing a phenomenal growth because of the boom in the construction industry.

Woodworking machinery makers from several European countries, ranging from Britain to Finland, will participate.
