TDP flays TRS move to lay siege to Secretariat

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party has criticised Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) for announcing its action of laying siege to the Secretariat on Monday pressing for implementation of GO 610.

At a press conference here on Sunday, TDP leader Kadiam Srihari flayed the Congress as well as the TRS for what he called their double-speak.

They should own responsibility for the present situation which had created apprehensions in the minds of Government employees.

Reiterating the party’s demand for implementation of GO 610 in letter and spirit, he said their was no need for another Government Order. He said that it was the erstwhile TDP Government that appointed the Girglani Commission and constituted the House Committee to look into aspects that GO 610 may not have covered.
