“Execute debt recovery certificate”

MADURAI: The Chairperson of Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal for the southern region, K. Gnanaprakasam, has urged banks and financial institutions to take the lead in executing debt recovery certificates pending before tribunals in Chennai, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

After inaugurating the Debt Recovery Tribunal Madurai Bar Association (DRTMBA) here recently, he said that nearly 800 to 900 certificates were pending in each Debt Recovery Tribunal.
