Children singing in the rain

THE MELODIOUS numbers from "Mungaru Male" have struck a chord with people of all ages. Ever since the super hit movie was released a few months ago, there has not been a day when FM radio stations and television channels have not aired songs from the movie.

Young men and women going about humming "Anisuthide yako indhu... " has become a common sight in Bangalore of late.

But what about children? The movie has made an impact on them too. When it started to drizzle on Saturday, a few children who were playing at the Vivekananda Park in Girinagar burst into chorus: "Munagru maleyee, yenu ninna hanigala leelee... "
