Kalaan stars in India's win

NEW DELHI: Angad Kalaan scored five goals to power India to a 7 1/2-6 victory over Australia in the World Cup zonal qualifying tournament at Auckland, New Zealand, according to information reaching here.

Manupal Godara and Tarun Sirohi scored the other goals for India, which started with a half-a-goal handicap advantage.

India had lost its first match 13-7 to host New Zealand. It will next play Pakistan and then South Africa.
