Kittipong, Nanuli triumph

KOLKATA: Eighth seed Kittipong Wachiramanowong and unseeded Russian Nanuli Pipiya lifted the boys' and girls' singles crowns respectively in the ONGC-ITF junior (grade III) tennis series here at the DKS Sports Complex on Saturday.

Kittipong had an easy win in straight sets over seventh seed Jeong-Han Seo of Korea in the boys' final while unseeded Nanuli defeated third-seeded Nadia Lalami of Morocco 6-2, 6-3 in the girls' final.

The results (finals): Boys: Singles: Kittiphong Wachiramanowong (Tha) bt Jeong-Han Seo (Kor) 6-1, 6-4. Girls: Singles: Nanuli Pipiya (Rus) bt Nadia Lalami (Mor) 6-2, 6-3.
