Jockeys suspended:

The Stewards of RWITC received a complaint from the owners of Escravos against P. Kamlesh, rider of Englehart, for hampering the running of their horse in the IGCC Christmas Trophy on Dec. 3, 2006. The Stewards after interviewing Kamlesh, trainer Faisal Abbas and jockey Appu decided to give Kamlesh the benefit of a grave doubt for the charge "foul riding" and held him guilty for careless riding on Englehart. Hence the Stewards decided to suspend P. Kamlesh from Jan. 24 to Feb. 4.

Harish, rider of Call To Arms, in the Columbus Plate (Div. I) held on Dec. 14, 2006 was interviewed by the Stewards. They were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Harish and held him guilty of unsatisfactory riding on his mount and decided to suspend him from Jan. 24 to Feb. 18.
