GANDHINAGAR : The Noida serial killings accused, Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli, were once again put through lie detector and brain mapping tests at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Gandhinagar on Sunday. The FSL Director, J. M. Vyas, said since the two were alleged to be involved in multiple murders, there was a need for the tests to be done for a second time. Meanwhile, the Gujarat police claimed to have unravelled the mystery behind the murder of 10-year-old Nayan, son of a diamond trader, who was kidnapped from near his house in Navsari town a few days back. Though aransom of Rs. 50 lakhs was said to have been demanded for his release, his body was found before the demand could be met. The police arrested the trader's neighbour, Pervez Rana, who is said to have confessed to the crime.
Pandher hospitalised
PTI reports from Gandhinagar: Pandher was rushed to the city's civil hospital following "mild health complications," police said. Pandher, a diabetic, was wheeled into the civil hospital where doctors were trying to stabilise his blood sugar level. Doctors did not say if Pandher would be admitted to the intensive care unit for the night for observation. However, the hospital was put under tight security cover after he was rushed there late in the evening.
