Adoption awareness programme

CHENNAI: An `Adoption Awareness Programme' was organised by the Christ Faith Home for Children at Manapakkam on Saturday.

M. Pandiyan, panchayat president, Manapakkam, and M. Kamaraj, union councillor, participated. Social workers, government officials and parents who had adopted children spoke about adoption. Participants expressed appreciation for the State's Cradle Baby Scheme.

The Christ Faith Home for Children is a registered society and is assisting poor children, women and the community at large with a variety of programmes. The Home can be contacted at 2252 0588 or 6549 4647.
