NCC cadets take out AIDS awareness rally

CHENNAI:
It was not a just a token act made by cadets.
It was more a reiteration of belief in their collective strength in combating a scourge arresting the development of people all over the world. As many as 600 cadets of the National Cadet Corps from schools and colleges took out a rally to create an awareness of the Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome. The rally was led by 1 (TN) Armed Squadron of the NCC on Monday.
The rally was flagged off by Lt. S. Santhosh Baboo, ANO, Armed Squadron.
Starting from the Madras Medical College grounds, the rally covered key spots such as the Central Station, Pallavan House and Parrys.
Shrabasna, R. Ramamurthy, S. Selvam, Arokiadas and Anandhan, all NCC officers, participated.
