NEW DELHI: Rohan Bopanna and Mustafa Ghosue clinched the decisive doubles rubber and helped India beat Pakistan 2-1 in the first of the four-Test bilateral tennis series at Islamabad on Tuesday. Bopanna and Ghouse who had reached the doubles final of the ATP Tour event at Mumbai recently, won in straight sets to put India 1-0 in the series. The next Test will be played at Lahore and that would be followed by two Tests on Indian soil, at Chandigarh and Delhi. The results: India beat Pakistan 2-1 (Rohan Bopanna lost to Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi 3-6, 7-6(5), 5-7; Karan Rastogi bt Aqeel Khan 6-0, 6-4; Rohan Bopanna and Mustafa Ghouse bt Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Aqeel Khan 6-4, 7-6(4).
