Ramakrishna wins chess title

HYDERABAD: J. Ramakrishna of Andhra Bank won the fifth Brilliant Trophy State open chess tournament here on Monday. He scored 6.5 points from seven rounds. A. Narasimha Reddy, AP Bar Council President, gave away the prizes.

Big win for St. Paul's

Centuries by Vamshi Vardhan Reddy (159), Dharampal Reddy (160) helped St. Paul's HS score a 357-run win over ICAFI in the Himalaya Cup inter-schools U-15 cricket tournament here.

Hat-trick for Deep

Deep Singh scored four goals to fashion Royal Club's 8-3 win over Tarbund XI in the A-2 Division hockey league championship at the Begumpet Police Stadium here.

Dilip cracks century

Dilip's unbeaten 125 helped Kanbay record a six-wicket win over Kun Hyundai in the Kun Chevrolet corporate sports meet.
