Claims of idols drinking milk

New Delhi: Thousands of people on Sunday night thronged temples across the capital, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana and Punjab on hearing claims that deities of Durga and Shiva were drinking milk.

Many people queued up outside temples in Mathura and nearby Vrindavan and Govardhan in Uttar Pradesh,Vadodara, Kurukshetra in Haryana and Ludhiana in Punjab. — PTI
