MR.M.C.VERGHESE DIED at his residence in Ernakulam on 12/07/'06. Mr.Verghese worked with the United Nations at Newyork and Vienna from 1963 and retired as a director of UNIDO in 1978. He was one of the first from South India to study at MIT (USA) on a Ta ta Scholarship. His professional career started with FACT (Alwaye) and then with the Neyveli Lignite Corp. in 1957. He is survived by his wife Chinnama Verghese, Son Minu Verghese & daughters Sheela Philip & Sarah Pulimood.
