New head for VIA Technologies

NEW DELHI: Taiwan-based VIA Technologies Inc, a leading developer of silicon chip and PC platform solutions, has appointed Sanjay Peer as the Director of its VIA pc-1 Channel Development Team for India and the SAARC Region. Mr. Peer will be responsible for building a new team based out of Bangalore that will be focused on promoting low power, highly integrated VIA pc-1 platform targeted at expanding personal computer usage throughout India and the SAARC Region, according to a release.
