Gruesome act: Vayalar Ravi

A Correspondent

NEDUMBASSERY: Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi on Monday condoled the murder of the abducted Indian engineer, Suryanarayana by the Taliban and called it "an act against humanity."

Talking to reporters here at the Cochin International Airport, he said it was a "gruesome" incident and said no one should try to gain political mileage from such an incident. He said the abducted man was killed even before the crisis management team that left for Afghanistan got a chance to negotiate.
