Strike continues in Dubai

Dubai : The strike by nearly 2,000 workers, mostly Indians, to protest the ``ill treatment'' meted out to them by their employers here continued on Saturday as the talks called by the authorities to resolve the issue failed to take place. Local authorities are planning to hold the high-level talks with the management, workers and Indian officials on Sunday, official sources said.

Indian consulate officials say they have told the workers not to take the law into their own hands.
