Holiday for bus pass counters

RTC bus pass counters in the twin cities will remain closed on April 7 on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. Similarly, all e-Seva centres will remain closed on the day.

Idol installation

Thousands of devotees attended `kumbhabhishekam' and installation of an idol of `Karyasiddhi Marakatha Anjaneya' by Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda at Avadhoota Datta Peetham in Dundigal near here on Thursday.

Also consecrated on the occasion was the `Navagraha Sannidhi', said to be unique in the country. The rituals were preceded by `Sri Sitarama kalyanam.'

Addressing devotees, Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda said one should emulate Sri Rama.

Summer camp

The Vishwa Samskruti Vidya Samsthan of Habsiguda will organise a summer camp in total personality development for children in two batches. The non-residential camp will be held at VK Nature Cure Hospital, Ramanathapur, between 5.30 a.m. and 9.00 a.m. from April 16 to 31. The camp will be organised at VSVS Yogashram, Ravirala village, near Imarat, Pahadishareef, RR district from May 1 to 15.

Power bill centres to function tomorrow

All cash collections counters, including the main electricity revenue offices, sub-EROs, counters of EROs of operation central circles of Hyderabad, will function on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to enable consumers to pay bills.

Railway season tickets

The SCR on Thursday extended the time limit for renewal of season tickets from three days in advance now to 10 days with immediate effect.
