Meet on human resource

Gitam College of Management Studies and National Institute of Personnel Management will hold a two-day national conference on `Competitive advantage through human resource on Friday and Saturday.

Visteel gesture

Visteel Mahila Samithi has provided a borewell at Sainagar near Desapatrunipalem to benefit about 60 families. The borewell was inaugurated by samithi president Chinnamma Sagar Rao on Wednesday.

Food items distributed

The Interact Club of Olivet School, Maharanipeta, distributed food items to children of Public and Police Association for street children as a part of its community service programme.

Women honoured

Junior Chamber International, Vizag, celebrated International Women's Day by felicitating eight women. The women are serving physically and mentally challenged children. Three of them are from Sun Flower Special School, MVP Colony, three from Abode of Peace, Kirlampudi Lay-out and two from St. Joseph's Old Age Home.

Pension adalat

A pension adalat will be conducted near the Sri Venugopala Swamy temple in Akkayyapalem at 4 p.m. on March 13, Assistant Director of District Treasury P. Lakshmi Kumari informed. Pensioners from Dondaparthi, Akkayyapalem and Dwarakanagar areas can attend the adalat.

AU union office opened

Andhra University Vice-Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy inaugurated the office of university employees' representative trade union in the campus on Thursday. Rector L. Joga Rao, Registrar P. Vijaya Prakash, Members of Executive Council, principals of campus colleges, office-bearers of the representative union and a large number of employees attended.
