Mass congregation of Sikhs

Prabhandak committee of the Puratan Gurudwara Sahib Asha Singh Bagh Saheedan Singh Asthan will organise a mass congregation -- `Mahaan Shaheedi Samagam' -- on the asthan premises near Kishan Bagh on Thursday.

The congregation is being organised in the memory of the two sons of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, who laid down their lives for their country 300 years ago.

BSNL customer meet

BSNL will hold its monthly customer meet on December 26 at all the offices of Area Managers.

Customers can send letters pertaining to service, commercial and billing matters of their telephones to their Area Managers by Thursday.

Language courses

Ramakrishna Math will conduct courses in Chinese, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi and Sanskrit languages from January 17 at Vivekananda Institute of Languages.

Suspended

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has suspended Pandari Rao, senior grade assistant (metering), for negligence in issuing the allocated bills.

The MD, HMWSSB, inspected the O&M Division VII areas and found the official's performance very poor.

Disciplinary proceedings were initiated and he was placed under suspension, according to a press release.
