Create awareness on information act: Krishna Iyer

Kochi: The former judge of the Supreme Court V.R. Krishna Iyer has stressed the need for creating awareness about Right to Information Act, 2005.

Inaugurating a workshop organised by the People's Council for Social Justice, Samatha Law Society and Niyama Sahaya Kendram of Ernakulam Karayogam here on Saturday, he said that the right to information was implied in the freedom of speech and expression contained in the Constitution. — Staff Reporter
