Communal colour being given to case, says PUCL

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD : The People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) has warned that the disappearance of Pallavi was gaining communal colour with the advent of BJP and MIM on the scene.

In a statement, the PUCL State committee asked why the police had not taken the responsibility of getting the girl identified by her relatives instead of leaving it to MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi to produce her in court. The organisation demanded the production of the girl in a police station other than Langar Houz and identification by her parents after which she could make up her mind about her future.
