Maths Olympiad on Nov. 26

HYDERABAD:
The Andhra Pradesh Association of Mathematics Teachers (APAMT) will conduct the State-level 33rd Maths Olympiad-2005 on November 26. The event consists of talent search competition in maths for students of sub-junior (seventh and eighth class), junior (ninth and tenth), junior colleges, degree and post-graduate institutions. The association said in a press release on Wednesday that the competition would comprise a three-hour written test in English, Telugu, Hindi or Urdu for all levels, except for degree and PG students.
Last date
According to Anil Naidu, assistant secretary, November 5 is the last date for submitting the list of candidates (in duplicate) to the association (tel. 23236737, 9849253515).
He said only recognised institutions were eligible to participate in the Olympiad.
