Nationwide alert for Shahabuddin's arrest

PATNA:
: The Bihar police on Tuesday issued a nationwide alert for nabbing the controversial RJD MP from Siwan, Md. Shahbuddin, wanted in over half-a-dozen criminal cases.
Acting on the request made by the Siwan DM and SP, the DGP, A.R.Sinha, issued the alert. The non-bailable arrest warrants pending execution against have been faxed to all the States.
International airports and immigration authorities too have been sounded out.
Mr. Shahbuddin faces charges of possession illegal arms, Pakistan-made ammunition, foreign currency, and a deer, among others.
