Boy electrocuted

Twenty-two year-old Venkatesh was electrocuted when he was repairing an electrical connection at a private school in Sarjapur in the MICO Layout police station limits on Thursday night. According to the police, the victim was an electrician and died when he accidentally touched a live wire.

Water supply hit

Water supply will be disrupted on Friday in Prakashnagar, Rajajinagar 2nd D Block, some parts of Rajajinagar, Ramachandrapura, Bashyam Park, Rajajinagar 4th M Block, Okalipuram, Gopalapura, behind Minerva Mill, Basaveshwara Slum and surrounding areas. The disruption is because of the work on lining of MS water line at flyover junction of West of Chord Road and Navarang, according to Bangalore Mahanagara Palike press release.

Water adalat

Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) will conduct "water adalat" at the office of the Assistant Executive Engineer of East (3) Sub-division in Fraser Town on Friday between 9.30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The disputes coming under Machalibetta, Frazer Town, Pillana Garden, HRBR service stations will be heard and settled.

Mass marriage

The 62nd mass marriages of Arya Vysyas will be celebrated on August 14 at Sri Kanyaka Parameshwari Temple, Vasavi Temple Road, Visveswarapuram. all expenses will be met by the Arya Vyasya Kalyana Seva Prathishthana Trust. For details, call 26676042 before July 30.

Software training

Computer Training for Urban Poor has invited applications for three-month free training programme in Software Applications for unemployed youths aged between 18 and 25. The applicants should have passed SSLC with good percentage of marks and their family income should not exceed Rs. 24,000. Interested persons can attend the test at the institute on July 20. Elocution contest
