PONDICHERRY: The 24th memorial day of the former Chief Minister of Pondicherry V. Venkatasubba Reddiar, was observed here on Monday. The Chief Minister, N. Rangasamy, garlanded the statue of the leader at the Orleanpet junction near the Rajiv Gandhi Municipal bus terminal here. The Pradesh Congress Committee leader and MP, V. Narayanasamy, the Pattali Makkal Katchi Parliamentary party leader, M. Ramadass, Ministers, legislators and freedom fighters paid floral tributes at the statue of Reddiar.
