MADURAI, MARCH 7. Arumugakadavul's five for 27 and a half century by Senthil (59) helped Mercury CC score a 18-run victory over Blooming XI CC in the Indian Bank - Madurai District Cricket Association first division `B' zone league here on Sunday.
First division `B' zone: Mercury CC 163 in 33 overs (Senthil 59, Sathish six for 48) bt Blooming XI CC 145 in 28 overs (Balamurugan 74, Arumugakadavul five for 27).
`A' zone: Kapil Devils CC 239 in 45 overs (Ranjith 77) bt Pykara CC 160 in 35 overs (Babu 54 not out).
Second division: Babu Cricket Academy 240 for seven in 30 overs (Senthil 55, Guru 43) bt Majestic Toddlers CC 120 for seven in 30 overs.
Third division: Jai Hind CC 138 for six in 28 overs lost to King's CC 141 for five in 24 overs.
Chums CC 173 for six in 26 overs (Ram Kumar 67) bt IOB RC 134 in 19.3 overs.
