The 70th Trimurthi Siva Jayanthi will be celebrated on Tuesday---Mahasivarathri---by the Railway New Colony branch of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya at the Srinivasa Kalyanamandapam. Informing this to reporters here on Friday, the branch in-charge, Brahma Kumari Sasikala, said that the organisation, an international socio-spiritual educational institution, was striving to build a value-based society through spiritual empowerment. It was rendering services for the promotion of human, moral, ethical, cultural, social and spiritual values in personal, professional and civic life all over the globe. The organisation, which has its international headquarters at Mount Abu in Rajasthan, also imparts teachings and training in value education, character building, self-management, leadership, stress-free living, personality development, women's empowerment, holistic health, global peace of cooperation, environmental de-pollution and de-addiction from drugs, alcohol and smoking on the basis of India's ancient spiritual wisdom and easy Raja Yoga meditation, she said. "Purity ensures peace and prosperity,'' she added. Brahma Kumar Narayana Rao and Brahma Kumar Srinivas, who were present, said that media had an important role to play in building a value-based society.
