Presidency in final

BANGALORE, FEB. 10. Charles Mathew's 128 guided Presidency College to a seven-wicket victory over MES College in a RPC Cup inter-collegiate tournament semifinal here on Thursday. MES College scored 242. P. Desai bagged five wickets and later in the afternoon, Presidency College cruised to victory with Charles and Kiran Uppor (47 n.o.) leading the chase.

Presidency play SBM Jain College in the final here on Friday.

The scores: MES College 242 in 46.3 overs (M.K. Manjunath 91, V.S. Pawar 51, P. Desai five for 29) lost to Presidency College 245 for three in 38.2 overs (Charles Mathew 128, Kiran Uppor 47 n.o.).
