Counter case filed against Kadiam
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
FEB. 6.
A day after the Banjara Hills police registered a case following a complaint lodged by the senior Telugu Desam leader and former Minister, Kadiam Srihari, accusing one M. Chidamber Reddy of threatening him over phone, the latter lodged a counter complaint on Sunday.
An advocate and Panchayat Raj Minister J.C. Diwakar Reddy's supporter, Chidamber Reddy, in his complaint, stated that it was Mr. Srihari who threatened him over phone. He conceded that he had called up Mr. Srihari only to object the former Minister's alleged personal attack on Mr. Diwakar Reddy while making an `emotional speech' at a meeting held recently in Penukonda condoling the death of Paritala Ravi.
Chidamber Reddy charged that Mr. Srihari had threatened him without paying heed to his version. The Banjara Hills police booked a case under Sections 506 and 507 of IPC.
