Chain snatchers strike at three places

Chain snatchers struck at three places in the city on Tuesday.
B.Y. Srikanth, 26, of Lal Darwaza, was returning home on his motorcycle after attending a marriage at Shaikpet on Tuesday night. On reaching Ravindra Bharathi, two motorcycle-borne youngsters came from behind, pulled away his two tolas bracelet and rode off, the Saifabad police said.
A housewife, Sheetal Agarwal, lost two tolas gold chain after two motorcycle-borne assailants snatched it away while she was walking on the road near Charminar. A resident of Rikab Gunj, the victim was returning home from shopping when the offence was committed.
Two motorcycle-borne youngsters pulled away five tolas gold chain from a housewife, B. Savithri, near her house at Yellareddyguda house.
She was returning home on foot along with a neighbour after visiting a local temple on Tuesday night.
An unidentified person snatched away three tolas gold chain from a housewife, S. Prameela, 38, on November 21 night. According to a complaint lodged by her on Tuesday, the offender came from behind while she was walking on the road near Shanti theatre, pulled the chain and ran away, the Narayanaguda police said.
