Title for Sudha Raghunathan

CHENNAI,
APRIL 24.
Carnatic vocalist Sudha Raghunathan was conferred the title `Isai Arasi' by M. Balamuralikrishna for her outstanding contribution to Carnatic music at the valedictory function of Sri Ram Samaj Golden Jubilee Music Festival here yesterday.
Mr. Balamuralikrishna said Ms. Raghunathan was a `model disciple-earnest and dedicated.' She was a `guiding light for the present and future generations.'
Accepting the award Ms. Raghunathan said she cherished the moment.
