Snag in aircraft delays PM's departure

NEW DELHI, APRIL 17. A technical snag in the Indian Air Force aircraft by which the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was to leave for Nagpur led to an hour's delay in his departure as another aircraft was requisitioned.

The second aircraft left at around 3.30 p.m.

According to senior airport officials, the snag was not a major one.
