Legal notice to Sonia, Rahul

KOCHI,
APRIL 8.
Legal notices have been sent to the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, and her son, Rahul Gandhi, asking them to stop using the surname ``Gandhi."
The notices sent by K. Ramkumar, on behalf of C.S. Manoj Kumar, a social activist, said that both Ms. Gandhi and her son had been using the surname "Gandhi," instead of the community name — "Gandy" — to which the husband of Sonia Gandhi and father of Rahul Gandhi belonged. The father of Rajiv Gandhi, Feroze Gandhi, belonged to a community among the Parsis, commonly known as " Gandy."
