Book on Bunts released

BANGALORE, FEB. 18. A socio-cultural research book, said to be first on the Bunt community of Dakshina Kannada, " Bantaru: Ondu Samajo-Samskritika Adhayana", published by the Kannada Book Authority was released here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the author, Indira Hegde, said the well-known scholar, M. Chidananda Murthy, was responsible for the venture. The chairman of the authority, Mallepuram Venkatesh, spoke.
