City student secures first rank in stenography exam

Pondicherry Jan.1. R.Dhivya, a student of Pondicherry, who appeared for the Junior Grade Shorthand (English) examination conducted by the Government Technical Education Board Tamil Nadu, secured the first rank in the whole of Tamil Nadu. She appeared as a private candidate for the examination held in August 2003.

In the examination in Senior Grade Shorthand (English) held in February 2002, R. Rajasekar, got the first rank in whole of Tamil Nadu.

The Chennai based Stenographers Guild also honoured him in recognition of his achievement, according to a source in a coaching centre here.
